Philadelphia Region Amputee Soccer Clinic
Set for Saturday, June 27

Wilmington, DE - The American Amputee Soccer Association (AASA) is sponsoring a day-long soccer clinic for single extremity amputees on Saturday, June 27, 1998 at the US Regional Sports Center, Hatboro, PA.

Soccer is one of the most rapidly growing sports in the world, and amputee soccer is expected to become a Paralympic event in the near future.

The Association, and the June 27 workshop, is designed to help make the game more accessible to adult, new, and especially for younger amputees.

The AASA is dedicated to promoting social interactivity, self-esteem and self-confidence among amputees through recreational and competitive soccer programs.

The clinic is open to boys and girls, men and women of all ages. Teams are forming for both recreational and competitive play.

The event will be led by members of the Delaware Valley Tornado Amputee Soccer Club.

For more information please call the American Amputee Soccer Association at (302) 764 - 4847.

If you prefer not to play, we'd appreciate your support by becoming an Associate Member for a tax-deductible donation of $25.00. If you prefer to contribute, please send your donation to:
